Me and Jake, who plays our "Johnny"...)
David and I left Toronto the Sunday after opening night. Before then, the afternoon after opening night, there was a brunch at the theater so that some of the creatives leaving earlier than us could say goodbye to the cast. It was a mellow yet emotional brunch, amidst a generally shared hangover murkiness.

Jake, me and Al, who plays "Dr. Jake Houseman." He was also "Mikey" in "The Sopranos.")

(
James's daughter Elsie. I am absolutely besotted with her. She is incredible and the smartest, loveliest young person I know. Here she wears a pink Adidas track suit David and I bought for her 1st birthday -- she was too small to wear it at the time, but 4 months later, she rocks the outfit.
Elsie calls me "Moke.")

(
Elsie with James, her daddy. Gorgeous. I don't know whose hand that is, but, understandably, Elsie is a hit when she pops up at Dirty Dancing functions.)

Our time in Toronto was wonderful -- it was the best all around experience to date, and we will truly miss everyone in the company, as well as the city. We have come to know it well, ever since we started coming to Toronto for casting back in January. It will be strange not to be in Toronto anymore, and stranger still when we begin casting Chicago next week. Hopefully, we will keep in touch with the people in Toronto.
What a wonderful time we have had in T.O.
