David and I went to a second-hand bicycle shop today and purchased, yes, that's right, bicycles! And mine is a beautiful pale pink -- the only one of its kind there. We then rode back home along the canal.Takes a little getting used to -- I haven't ridden a bike since my early teens, maybe. And all the other bikes and cars and such. But there are bike paths. Now we can ride around Amsterdam!
Our assimilation into Dutch life just keeps on progressing...
