This winter will mark our first full winter in New York -- since we were married, we have always relocated to a foreign city around or after the New Year to begin a new production of DD -- we have spent winters in Hamburg, Amsterdam, and Berlin... but never a full winter in the US. We are excited at the prospect of being home for a significant period. To kick off our winter and holiday season appropriately, we have decided to get a Christmas tree! Something we did not do last year, since we were busy around the holidays and then moving to Berlin.
Here are a few snapshots of our tree-acquiring process, taken by my trusty Blackberry.
