bored.bored.bored...

Today is our day off -- and as usual, we did our grocery shopping, rode around the city, trying to enjoy the sunlight that has become so foreign to us as we live most of our lives in the darkness of the theater. Now, in the evening and yet again in the dark, we were trying to figure out what to do about dinner... when we were suddenly hit with an unbearable sense of ennui. As he tried to find an interesting restaurant, David muttered, "I'm just trying to get through until we get back to New York." We are bored at the moment. We've exhausted our bicycling, our restaurant-touring, our wandering around the canals of Amsterdam. English channels on TV are limited. All we have is Photobooth on our computers to take stupid photos of ourselves, to express our longing for New York (see above).

Couldn't spring come earlier this year in Amsterdam?
