Proud owner of...

David and I recently purchased a wall unit (is it a chest? a buffet table? we're not exactly sure what to call it... but it holds things and looks nice) and a bedside table from a furniture store called Environment Furniture. Environment Furniture makes beautiful wood furniture from reclaimed wood, mainly from Brazil. We chanced upon the relatively new Manhattan store several months ago, before we left for Amsterdam. We both fell in love with the pieces from the store, but were not sure what kind of item would be a good fit for us, the store has serious grown-up type furniture, and we needed a grown-up commitment to justify acquiring something from the store.

David especially loved the furniture from the store... and so was ecstatic when we finally decided that this wall unit would be great in our apartment, and also extremely functional and useful.
