(The Canadian Niagara Falls... helicopter view!)David and I had driven "by" the Niagara Falls as an addendum drive on our Niagara-on-the-lake trip, but we had not explored it fully. We had the opportunity to explore the falls further two Mondays ago, on our day off. A group of us from the show took a guided bus tour of the Niagara Falls and we had some excellent times. The best bits for us were (1) a helicopter tour above the falls (excellent geological perspective on the falls -- and my very first helicopter ride! I got to sit as the "co-pilot," right next to the pilot and the owner of the helicopter tour company), and (2) the Maid of the Mist boat tour close up and personal with the falls.
